Аннотация: Nowadays the discussion about necessity and possibility of reindustrialization, or new industrialization, is going on among economics scholars as well as policy makers and public officials of authorities of all levels. The main courses of that reindustrialization and its’ spatial features are discussed. The paper intends to answer the question: does it make sense to talk about any ‘new urbanization’ connection with a new industrialization? The connection between two processes – industrialization and urbanization – is reviewed within the paper, as well as characteristics of new industrialization. Possible courses of urbanization are researched taking into account contemporary tendencies of allocation of population.
